Nobody carves a keystone for a wall that has not been laid out. Yet most generating sessions run backwards: premium model, maximum detail, forty adjectives of texture — poured over a composition nobody chose. The frame arrives expensively decorated and structurally arbitrary.
The thumbnail judgement
The desk’s first test costs nothing and lies never: shrink the frame to a thumbnail. At that size detail vanishes and only arrangement remains — her mass against the arch, the light’s division, the pose’s silhouette. If it does not read there, no resolution will save it, because resolution is not what is missing.
The order of spending
Standard frames until the composition stands. A repair pass if one fault mars a standing frame. Premium only when structure has earned detail, and the upscaler only when detail has earned size. Credits laid in that order are foundations; laid in any other, they are rubble — handsome, expensive rubble.
Build the wall, then carve the stone. The desk has never once seen the reverse order produce a keeper.
